I will be writing a short something in this post everyday, on whatever strolls into my mind and turns a twisted colour of humour while it's in there, for however long that may be, fragmented or fully formed, spurious or genuine of feeling, dubious or indubitable. Attention span shortening by the hour, mind you, so who's to tell what's relevant and what's Top Tier Refuse.
'Inclusion standards' sounds oxymoronic. Doesn't it? How does it not? I need an explanation if it doesn't. I'm no big-money shit-slinger banking with DOOM dollars or Provocateur fetishist so I'm not intending to rile up the bots that periodically swing by this site to see what's up in this niche of the 'net.
Here's my(lower case to indicate humility) interpretation of what 'inclusion standards' precipitates in the way of subtext.
"Come to our party.
Here, we'll take your coat.
Refreshment?
You'll be out of the lobby in short order.
I'm quite sorry, you're not exactly what we're looking for.
Please vacate the premise."
And anyone that doesn't think that, I think you're not grasping something commoronic September 11/20
Nothing really writhed around in my head today. Unless you count learning everything there is to know about Reginald Veljohnson. No. Scratch that.
I could see us evolving to only needing three finger on each hand. Lose some palm, maybe. Thumb. Index. Middle. Ring and Pinkie could fuse into a mass of bone and tissue and fat and blood vessels and tendons and nerve. Or wither off. One of the two. More likely if we had active cells of humans stationed throughout our own solar system, never being to Earth. But would they still be considered human? More machine means less fingers. #ad3020 September 12/20
Have I lost my understanding of humour? Have I mistreated my sense of it and now have found myself down a path which way's back has become overgrown and impassable and that I cannot return? Lovely simile for being tainted.
An episode of Seinfeld was on today. Soup Nazi and Shmoopie public displays of affection one. There's a scene where Jerry's Shmoopie love interest says something to him about in every joke there is truth. I'm sure I've heard it uttered before, albeit in other iterations. There are many times the same thing is said differently by a disparate group of people how can we all keep track??. So I looked it up. See what returns I would get.
Top ping was an article from psychologytodaydotcom. I skimmed it and stopped when I saw Freud. Talks about jokes serving one of two purposes : aggression and to expose unconscious desires. It goes on. You can find it if you want. I'm not here to regurgitate stuff.
can anyone remember hearing anything about how court jesters could get away with insulting the king? That could serve as a condensed articulation for the theory.
Point being : I wondered if all my humour comes from either of those places. I don't think so, but I laugh at edgy stuff. Stuff that would offend a lot, if not most. Does that make one a bad person for laughing at the shit-show which is called Reality?
So, in summation: being a human born well into the cultural revolution of the 20th century, I can only try to add my own output by calling it Semi-malicious Incisive Veracity disguised as Comedically playful Jabs designed to keep one Honest. Maybe I should google that first, make sure it isn't an already an arbitrary disorder.

When did humans begin to make what's happening in the hard struggle of the present the ground-breaking innovative and progressive triumph of the past, almost immediately, by popularizing crowd-pleasing phrases such as 'We're Making History Today', or 'Our Grandchildren Will Look Back On This And Think/Say...'
Anything along those lines- Envisioning the Future in the Present in order to...
We love to suck ourselves off and blow our brains out all in the same smooth motion (preferably with no teeth).
(To meet inclusion standards I will state that 'to suck ourselves off' is hyperbolic non-binary expression to indicate 'getting oneself off', however that may be achieved.)

Listening to the opinions of people who have different lifestyle choices. Attempting to empathize. Opening your mind to hear it all out, trying to relate. If they don't, which is a pervasive idea throughout society- 'People are more engaged in their lives and their problems/successes to pay this or that any attention' -leaves the one open to hearing out the opposition/alternative idea susceptible to taking all that home with them for further analysis when compared to their own ideals. The listeners create toxic speculation, in their own mind, of the constant and logical caveat that they could be the wrong ones (thinking most others also subscribe to that approach) and they apply what others say to their own stance. Trying to figure that out is not a cut and dry process. More akin to be ridden hard and put away wet, where mold initiates its fester. How many people really want to listen? There's no jury deliberating somewhere as to the percentages, but listening is easily faked in the moment. People would rather talk. Listeners seem open to having their brain put in a basin of bathwater for a wash.
It would be nice to think that everyone would rather arrive at an epiphany on their own, rather than being led to one by someone else.
So, are any of us independent thinkers, considering the aggregate history of everything we have at our fingertips?
Don't have to look further than any assembled panel on most news networks for evidence of talk-culture. Is anyone really absorbing opposing views or do they nod and wait for their chance to agree or disagree (the latter preferred because it's so much more delectably salacious and rewarding). And does that coincide with the trait that people want to be right and hate being wrong? #conundrum September 20/20

No one wins in a war of words. A bit north of 300,000 people watch CBC news in Canada. That's low, eh? How accurate is the real consensus of political/existential society then? Is what's fed wrong? And when exactly was the period of ignorant oblivion that led Earth's collective conscious observance(humanity) here? This seems a mite odd to me but FOX averages just under 4 million and CNN at 2.5 million. Does that sound right? Out of 350 some-odd million people, 10% total, or less, watch news in the US? Or do most watch local news? I don't know why it's just dawning on me now to look into that and get some internet-solid numbers to set about in my head for a bit. Anyway, no one wins in a war of words. There are 'winners' when it involves evidence and conviction, of course. It's when the shit gets slung and spots are on the wall and floors are slick in some spots, sticky in others, that all engaging parties leave in dignified gait, with diplomatic grins and no allusion to the smell left to linger. The applause may be taken as victor indicator, but those audiences don't represent the whole- security checks, and all. If there were that great unbiased moderator in the sky, taking notes all the time, then they gotta know no one wins in a war of words for no bodies are left from those 'debattles'. September 29/20
What's ever-present at the forefront of your mind? Could be one thing. Could be a few things. All things can't be. Not for most, at least. All things at the same time on the mind would be isolating insanity. That's why we pick what's important from what's brought forth by others. At least we choose from whom we listen. September 30/20

What's a BIG decision which needs be made these days? Choose to save the Economies or save Human Lives? Sounds like a BIG decision. Biggest, possibly. Got to wash away the superfluous issues in order to get to the bottom where the few that most matter reside. So, which way will we go? Risk another Depression to save all that we can or power through and let Nature go on its difficult to predict course? Rough goings ahead, either way. Where you fall doesn't really matter- it's where we fall that is really the ultimate matter at hand. harshtag : sadbuttrue

Data Analytics. What does that mean to you? What does that mean to me? I often hear reasoning that indicates "if you have nothing to hide why does it bother you?" or "who are you to be surveilled?". Understanding that those are valid arguments they are also not free of cross examination. Do not trust twenty-first century pattern recognition, especially when administered by A.I.- which are ultimately controlled and programmed by other human beings. We all together are a pattern within patterns. Addicted to patterns, even.
It feels as though the last thing left to do is weeding out the unpredictability of human behaviour. A key endgame target of opportunity. Mitigating risk potential (that's a boardroom ethos, by gar).
Don't think 'listening in' hasn't become more sophisticated since Nixon's public bumble with it? Many deceptionists work out kinks and figure ways to not get caught like the last person did- they begin to hide in the predictable mindscape. Much harder to detect. For all the pseudo-detectives out there, why does it bother, and who the fuck are, you? We're being served up, all right. Cold utensils waiting to pierce us apart.

Heard Tyrel Ventura use a phrase today that I've never heard before : Performative Wokeness.
I can't remember how we got here. Great phrase, nonetheless.
What exactly are the specific subjects which one is to be 'woke'?
Does it apply to all topics of interest?
Can one be 'woke' in the way of the privatized insurance companies?
How about 'woke' in the way of the loss leader efficacy?
'woke' in the way of the markup pricing and gouging?

If one can truly not know exactly what is going on in another person's head, how is empathy attainable? It's a hard practice.

So 'record numbers' is the buzz phrase for 2020? And the rollercoaster rolls on. There's not much to say that's different from four years ago- flip-flop-factor-wise of the players at the table. We'll keep going. We keep fighting with each other. The only thing worse than an apocalypse is being on the verge of one in a never ending loop.
We're in a brainwashing machine and set on psychocycle.

I'm through with the flex-stress-tests. Decompression much needed. Signing off a while. The incessant and unappealing political bark-bark-bow-bullshit will never stop. And if you choose to ignore it, don't complain when it comes to sweep you away in some fashion. I'm prepared for that gamble. I'm tired of trying to makes sense when so many speak, stand and swagger around as if they have vise-grip understanding and solid sense and want my ear for the hearing of it all. Ugh. Enough.
A trucker once commented to me when I was younger, while I was going frenzied and swiftly about trying to get his trailer loaded so he could get out and on the highway at a decent hour, "I remember when I had that on tap, too." I asked him what he meant. He said, "Ambition." I get it now, Doug (I think that was his name), I get it. Only took 13-some-odd years.
