But first, before I go further and elaborate on #aftermath. I must address something...
Fuck you, Van Jones, and your coyish race riot inciting speech. You are an indignance riddled, blow hard, huff n’ puff pundit piece of shit. White-Lash??? You sucker of dead donkey cock. What kind of affect are those words going to have? How are they going to interpreted??? You’ve already had a hand in making young Liberals so fucking puny and physically defenceless through tempered pacifism, subliminal censorship and safe-space baby-bases, that you’re now using fury and spite in your words, paralleling those types that want to get the majority of the public to endorse War and Conquest…Blow me, douche…Through your haughtily educated, 'enlightened bourgeoisie informing the proletariats' attitude, you have effectively helped coerce the divide you so staunchly oppose...You're live. Not on a delay. And if your profession begs of you to be level and tolerant, act as such. You and your bleeding heart cronies.
I don’t think overt hypocrisy and its consequence is thoroughly addressed in these “celebrity pundit” circles. with their slovenly contrived talk that does more harm than good. The studio audience is screened, you fools. They don’t represent the masses. Your polls don’t either. Only the lonely and chatty do your surveys. It is NOT a clear representation of anything except maybe conjecture. Most regular people have so many other things to concern themselves with.<I think???> Things that keep them, and their families, afloat. They don’t get paid to sit around and surmise about political analysis and make predictions. They rely heavily on mixed media, their gut, and the opinions of those around them— none proven to be a sure clairvoyance of valuable pre-hindsight attestation, but they compute it all as best they can and attach to the best agenda they have time to review.
Let's move on to something else. <to be revisited later>
Would the protests have happened no matter who won? Methinks, Yes...It should be no secret that the embittered boil at the same temperature, no matter the side— militant mind and fed up, or those of faux pacifistic maxim with bachelor degrees of packaged compassion. How it all manifests can only be in a few forms: Peaceful or Violent, of Warranted purpose or of Propaganda's Pit, Aesthetic Effect or Genuine Rejoice, if I can qualify a few spectral opposites.
I’m not going to lie. Anxiety left my being in the last 48 hrs. Not because it’s finally been voted on, but because the highest of offices in the USA is not going to be filled by Hillary. And that is not an anti-women sentiment. I just do not trust the look of her. What, with the dopey Stephen Harper hairstyle and the reverse jowl cheek bones that give her the sadistic appearance of the Annabelle doll…Disconcerting, I think is the word…If there is even a shard of truth behind conspiracist rumblings that run the colour of possible, then Clinton would have had me in fear that Ultimate Control and Disarmament of the people of the largest populated first-world country would march on for another four years. My paranoia and cynicism would have taken a shot of norepinephrine, dug their metaphorical claws into the recliner’s arms and bitten down hard on the rubber mouthguard they stuff between your teeth so you don't sever your tongue during shock therapy treatment. <Strap in and hold on, Chum, this is going to really fuck with you!>
Some info out there for mind-consumption that I found suspect and made me distrust the Clinton machine that isn't too over the top, and that also struck me as totally plausible human behaviour: The email from Donna Brazile to John Podesta with prep questions for Hillary ahead of the DNC debates…That is sneaky, back door shit. Unfair practice going on within their own party. Making sure that Senator Sanders would indeed have to shoot from the hip while Hillary could memorize concise responses to the questions her campaign staff projected to be the best issues to tackle with the right words.
Or how Clinton says that she does understand the need for a public policy and a private one. What the fuck is your private policy??? That was a paid speech reveal. As in she was compensated. Like any actor would be: Paid to say what they’re paid to say. It was delivered to Wall Streeters, too. Even the dimmest can make that leap. And how does one take those comments about private policy, if the specifics aren't readily available, if Mrs. Clinton was vague on meaning, not expanding her intent. That throws up a red flag with me. Backdoor, nudge-nudge wink-wink shit, I abhor.
Then there's this Saudi-Clinton connection that I read mention of. Something like a 10 million dollar donation to the Clinton Foundation doesn’t bode well for my opinion of her. Especially if that money is used to fund her campaign and all they talk about is who donates what, and for what reason. For influence and sway, no doubt. Even a wage worker can understand that getting paid means doing the work. And the contribution is indisputable, whether it was made in grace or insidiousness.I don't know for sure, but I'll go with the latter(Saudi Arabia is backwards-ancient, behaviourally, but it’s rich as fuck)…just a more plausible human dealings: greased palms and clandestine negotiations. Quid Pro Quo international bedfellows. Compromise: an easy way to describe bending over and grabbing ankle.
Why would it be so hard to come the fuck clean about some of this stuff. Assuage the skeptical. It seems like these prominent figures have no inkling that suspicious statements or dealings cannot be struck from the record, or from the mind. And what the mind of anyone who hears these kind of things might be thinking is totally up to the person rallying those statements around in their head. You can control what you say and how you say it, but you’re not going decide how it’s taken by another person.
Ultimately, for me, it's fuck the career politicians…The new-age land surveyors of census-- lawyers trained to ferret out loopholes and tongue tie defensive objections into double-talk disorientation…I don’t trust ‘em. Probably never will. Fuck the stone carved Establishment.
Now, so as I'm not being biased, in the other corner you have Trump. A man who makes poorly worded and poorly thought out comments while gesticulating like a captive show-walrus slapping his fins for fish. That’s what happens to a tangential doofus that loves the sound of his own voice. He’s not used to watching his mouth (or his breathing exercises while on live television). He probably never really has had to learn that to further his political career. Everyone says stupid things they don’t necessarily mean…Van Jones, fuck…But it still spills into the public consciousness all the same. And it all could come back to bite him in the ass. Trump is accused of some heinous treatment of women, too. That I cannot abide. But I will tell you, he's not the first 'taken' or 'committed' man I've noticed alter their demeanour when he's around women to when he's out of their earshot...Is it blown out of proportion? Maybe. Will it start a War though? Probably not. Unless, of course he makes a blatant pass at Putin's alleged mistress, Alina Kabaeva…That could set off the missiles and launch some Warships, for sure…And when I say War, I mean a real War...No-fly zones provocation in foreign skies kind of shit. Border drills and troop increases. That’s what both pisses leaders off and presses paranoia up against their face. Not salacious remarks a well adjusted human can sweep aside.
That's another thing that had me tense, the rising aggression between America and Russia. I don’t think, and I hope, that Trump is interested in forcing Western ideals and Democracy on people from other tougher and more conflicted and congested parts of the world. He says he's focused on America. Something that will take more than 4 years to repair. And if by this point you're still calling him a racist or misogynist or sexual predator, then rest easy. If he's always done it, he won't stop now. That means we haven’t heard the last of it. Once the irrefutable evidence is there, then he will pay for it. Then he’ll have to serve his time. Just not right now. Right now he’s got other time to serve.
Just to be clear: In no way is this meant to condone all the questionable rhetoric or egregious things Trump has said and may have done. I’m not letting him off easy, but remember, innocent until proven guilty is a facet of the liberties so vehemently protected in the US. Be patient. Truth be told, I'm just not too concerned about the lewd behaviour of a man as I am the potential War provocation that other factions may truly have been seeking to escalate. Another thing I do find weird that has cause a fuss, Trump's tax returns, and how he won’t release them. That seems a mite suspect. Then again, what do I know about how a businessman's taxes are conducted. Is he hiding something? Maybe. But I'm sure someone would've uncovered something nefarious about them by now. I mean, it's not like a tax evader could be allowed to hold public office, right?
I, as I’d like to think of all humans, have some self-doubt and am self-critical. I have no problem admitting that. What really bugs me is when I see these unflinching, fart clenching, photogenic pulpiters present themselves as they have none whatsoever. They are not immune to discomfort. They should act like it affects them in some degree. It would make them more human in the eyes of the masses. It would make them more honest to the average person. Skirting that kind of relatability makes them all the more callous and apathetic in my books and leads me to believe their facade to be the product of suborned arrogance, and that their egos find ways to justify the actions in the attempt to stave off noticeable crippling anxiety and feelings of low and unmanned moral borders from the public. It irks me that we never see those kind of human emotion-masters in these ‘leaders’ or candidates ( at least until they are so worn down from bottling it up and they lose their grip and spin off into the concrete divide at excessive speeds). To me it means that they are either hiding something, or they are so fucking high on themselves, and have some questionably gleaned sense of purpose, that they don’t truly 'feel for the people'. Because that would require feelings, of which, it appears that they have none except the right ones— just synonymous words equated with feelings.(to me anyhow)
In just over a year we’ve seen Trudeau’s Liberal Party shocker gaining a huge house majority, Brexit, and President Trump. Those are three big shake-em-ups the oddsmakers would never have bet on. But they happened. People want change, they don’t care what kind of change it is, just that it is change. These aren’t text your vote to 2254 today(.45 cent charge per vote) kind of elections. These are free, and are a citizenry right. They mean something. People want to mean something. Every single one of us, no matter their ability or mental capacity.
Aside from the candidates, this attack on what constitutes as 'news' is really pissing me off. CNN anchors said that whites, particularly men, with no college degree came out in droves for Trump. Is that any way to portray the working class? Regardless of their race. Maybe it’s that kind of derogatory bullshit pigeonholing condescension that got the people of lesser means into the polling stations. I loathe how all the broadcasters, all the pundits, all the college educated in communications, journalism, poli-sci, or anything like that have the gall to call hard working, struggling people something so blatantly a slight against their ability to cogitate properly. (Mind you, there’s no shortage of imbecilic humans. I know that. I might be one for all I know. But that doesn’t mean that everyone that voted Trump can be lumped into a single category of perceived idiocy) CNN correspondents might defend the demographic description by saying it’s a factual representation of the voter turn out in certain areas, or for this particular election season. I say it’s another tool of division. It’s a fucking stake hammered deep into the soil of segregation. CNN doesn’t control how what they say proliferates (much the same as Trump and Clinton's rhetoric does them) and that ‘electoral fact’, exemplified by a comment like Van Jones’ 'White-Lash' could be seeds used to cultivate something we will only see become fruit during the dire harvest: a crop that needs no water or tending is a crop that grows as quietly as disease.
Everybody start formulating some new talking points, now. Chop, Chop. Time is a-wastin’. Batter each other with contrary logic until the other submits and agrees...Yeah...That'll work...It's gotta.
All in all, this election proved to me that while Democracy is perverted, it is NOT a complete sham— that there is not some pre-selected, bought and paid for system within the system (unless there is and they are playing the psychological game from both sides and all of it really is just a meaningless and sado-masochistic version of Star Search hosted by the corpse of Ed McMahon and I'm just an idiot).
It has also proven to me, thought of in the most impartial way I can to satisfy both sides of the argument, this simple sentence: “Mostly, they are stupidly impulsive, but they sure as hell aren’t scared to take a chance.”
And for the record, I was for Bernie. His approach to education, anyhow. Educate, educate, educate (just try to be self-aware of what you become…VJ…Don’t just be a repeater. Be an interpreter) All in all, I don't care what side you end up on, just fucking never stop reading, never stop learning. I wish I hadn't. I've wasted many years and much resilience of youth.
So, now, as we march into the future, all of us, winners and losers alike, we must get with it and nestle into the fire together. Don't be shy. Accept each other. It’s actually quite warm. (One can’t be cold hearted if they’re warm-blooded and they can’t be heartless if their tissues, muscles and organs need to be perfused)
Try to think on this: All these candidates, regardless of your heartless effigy depiction of them, love in some way. They love their families, or parts of it, just like you do yours. But yours they will never truly love, not like the love a family has for itself, as a unit. That in itself is hard work. Love doesn’t have to be reciprocated on a National or even a Worldly level. That’s the stuff of dreamers. And the dream is quite possibly a coma for a time being.
Cuss, repent, and repeat as necessary…No hard feelings…Get on with it in whatever capacity you feel like, but know that change is met with resistance and that, ‘Change is Constant’-Heraclitus of Ephesus.***(qualifying addendum: Heraclitus said "Life is Flux"...ever changing, constantly ever changing. I just paraphrased.) ©
